Hermès was founded by Thierry Hermès, in France, all the way back in 1837. Today they sell globally, with retail stores in many destinations worldwide and a website selling their merchandise.
When Thierry Hermès first started the business he sold fine harnesses and bridles to European nobleman. When his son took over the business, he opened a retail store on the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and he added a bag designed to carry a saddle to the range. Over the years the next generation of sons took over the business and continued to add to the product range. It was with the creation of their famous Kelly Bag and their iconic silk scarves, that the brand became highly coveted internationally.

Martha C. says “Quality is perfect, selection is good, but as you come in a store it's seems that you teleported to France with it elegance & snobbism. ))”
rachel k. says “was pleasantly surprised that the sales assistant who worked with us, Megan, was so down to earth and helpful. She showed us how to properly fold the scarf and gave my friend a real opinion of which scarf was most appealing.”
Katherine F. says “I am quite sure the French have it right when it comes to luxury goods...and Hermes is the best of the best...I have always been treated with great courtesy when I visit this location, and wait with excitement for that hand selected item!”
Overall, they tend to score good customer reviews at Amazon for their cologones. For example, they score a 4.5 out of 5 for their Terre D’Hermes for men cologne. This is with 69 reviews left.
